Root and Gather are founded on the goal to not only have a profitable farm but an inclusive space that teaches the community about agriculture and the beauty that comes with growing your own food. We currently have a small orchard and a large, raised bed garden, large flower gardens, along with concord grapes, rhubarb, and asparagus that were planted by my great-grandmother. My grandfather (82) creates amazing wooden bowls out of the wood from trees that were harvested from our farm over the past 50 years. We are currently planning on installing a greenhouse in the near future in the hopes of expanding our orchard, produce, and floral production dramatically. We strive for perfection in our products while appreciating the uniqueness of each item. We hope to maintain our connection to our land, which has been in our family since 1862, and to our community which we adore.
